Film “MYth” by our faculty member İrem Çoban, PhD, named finalist at the Izmir 9th International Women Filmmakers Festival

The film “MYth” by our faculty member İrem Çoban, PhD from our Department of Digital Game Design has been selected as a finalist in the International Experimental Film category at the Izmir 9th International Women Filmmakers Festival, which will take place between April 24–29, 2026. 

The film, a UK–Turkey co-production supported by our University’s Individual Research Fund, previously won the Best Experimental Feature Film award at the Lumina Festival in 2025.
