Our Interior Design Student Mert Baysazan selected for ArchDaily Student Project Awards longlist

Our third-year Interior Design student Mert Baysazan has been selected for the longlist of the ArchDaily Student Project Awards with his project titled “Sire & Sun: Students-led Community Hub,” which he designed during the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

This year, the ArchDaily Student Project Awards focused on the theme of “coexistence,” highlighting proposals for spaces that foster inclusive and collective living.

In his project, which reimagines an abandoned leisure center, Mert Baysazan designed a living space that connects the building’s past and present through music and changing light throughout the day. The project was developed under the supervision of our Interior Design lecturers, Manas Deniz and Nur Gayretli.

We sincerely congratulate our student and wish him continued success.
