Professor Boratav’s academic research and teaching have been primarily on gender, sexuality, and values in the context of culture, social psychology, and health psychology. Her research has been published as national and international book chapters, as well as articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Gender and Society, Sex Roles, Archives of Sexual Behavior, and Feminism & Psychology. 

Her most recent research includes a country wide study of married men that had both a qualitative and quantitative component, and a  country wide study of married women research on married women.

Metehan Köktürk is involved in sound engineering and design, electronic music production and sonic arts. In addition to his individual productions, he collaborates with various independent artists and collectives.

Being interested in music and sound craft, he uses various instruments as well as field recordings and sound processing techniques in his production practices.

He is continuing his doctorate at ITU MIAM (Centre for Advanced Studies in Music) where he completed his master's degree and focuses on combining his academic development with his old software engineering skills. He also works as a lecturer and studio manager at Bilgi University Music Department.

In addition to his sound and music studies, he also works in different media of visual arts such as photography, focusing mainly on light and textures.
